About Me

Lisa Myers (BMed.Sc cum laude, MBCHB cum laude, FCPsych(SA), FRANZCP, Certificate Child Adolescent Psychiatry) is a qualified general and child and adolescent psychiatrist. She is a dynamic female psychiatrist and a mother of two. Lisa’s approach involves an initial, comprehensive diagnostic assessment of the presenting complaint. This process includes evaluating the contributing biological, psychological and socio-cultural factors and including these in the client’s formulation.

Lisa includes the client and (where needed), their family, private psychologist and school psychologist in the assessment process. Neuropsychological testing (WISC, WIAT, CPT), the assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ADOS, ADI), school readiness and behavioural assessments are conducted at the practice.
